In the home stretch

We are finally making our way through the Med, after brief stops in Cádiz, Gibraltar and now Almería. Hopefully we will be back in our home port of Viareggio, Italy around June 10th. 🌍⛵️😎🍾

Hanging out in Horta

After 17 days we arrived in Horta in the Azores at sunrise. The steep, rugged coastline in these verdant islands are always a welcome sight after a transatlantic passage. As usual, Horta is like a mass gathering of sailors arriving from all directions and catching up in the iconic Peter Café Sport. We have been exploring, talking with family back in Italy excited about our impending arrival, and hearing that even a school in Pistoia did a project about our circumnavigation! And finally, in keeping with the Horta tradition, we left a new ‘painting’ to record our great adventure.

On our way... again

After a stop in Antigua waiting for a weather window we are now on our way to the Azores. The weather in the north Atlantic is changing every day, so hopefully we will make landfall in the next 12-14 days. You can track our movements on: https://my.yb.tl/Milanto

Milanto46 is back in business!

Okay, Milanto46 never actually left, but we have been focusing on the ‘Milanto World Sailing Expedition’ for the last two years and in the transition away from the circumnavigation, we wanted to remind you of Milanto46 and all the other adventures that she has to offer; like private charters in the Med for late summer 2021, cruising in the Caribbean in Jan-April 2022, or crossing the Atlantic with the ARC in 2022. Get in touch to find out about our future plans. It might even involve another round-the-world adventure!
