We are presently making our way north of Athens to meet our next crewmates in Limnos for Leg 6. It is a well-deserved rest and reset for both Milanto and her crew!
The journey so far has been brilliant. We could not ask for better crew, sailing and swimming weather, off-season empty marinas and anchorages and reconnecting with the friendly locals after a long hiatus due to Covid and the circumnavigation, having cruised these waters for the past 20 years.
Believe it or not, there were still undiscovered spots that I had never visited before, and landing in those locations felt like a revelation as I marvelled at the secluded blue water bays and preserved natural beauty of hidden villages - like stepping back in time - and having the real modern-day experience of being on an Odyssey.
