The Transatlantic West to East  is approximately 4000nm starting in Antigua and finishing in Gibraltar. This TranAtlantic crossing is challenging and with varied sailing conditions.This is a great opportunity for mile building, gaining Ocean experience and discovering the quality of sailing on a Nautor Swan!

Leg 1 – Antigua to the Azores – approx 2600nm

Each year the weather is different but typically our route would take us North up to about 30 North where we would adjust our course to the East skirting the Azores high pressure system. This passage is approximately 14 to 17 days and is dominated by the Azores high.

Leg 2 – Azores to Gibraltar – approx 1100nm

After a stopover in the Azores we head  East. In June the conditions can be variable with gales from the west or light ,moderate winds from the North East. that can give a very exiting reaching condition .This passage takes about 6 to 9 days.
